Dale Vince

Dale Vince OBE

Dale Vince is one of the world’s leading entrepreneurs, pioneering environmental sustainability principles in business and championing the green economy.

In 1995, he founded Ecotricity, the world’s first green energy company. Initially supplying electricity to businesses, its remit broadened to include homes in 2003. The company has steadily increased its customer base to 100,000, investing in wind, solar and even geothermal generation as well as green gas mills, turning grass cuttings into methane which is supplied to the grid.

With a focus on energy, transport and food – the three sectors that contribute most to climate change – Dale leads a range of successful green enterprises within the Green Britain Group, including Ecojet, The Devil’s Kitchen, Skydiamond and Ecotalk.

In the field of transport, in 2011 Dale launched The Electric Highway, a network of EV charge points which was sold a decade later to Gridserve. Bringing sustainability to sports, under his leadership Forest Green Rovers was named the world’s greenest football club by FIFA and climbed from non-league football to EFL League One.

Dale was awarded an OBE for services to the environment in the 2004 New Year Honours list, and his autobiography, Manifesto, is a Sunday Times Bestseller, outlining what needs to be done to tackle the climate crisis.

Brent Smith

Brent Smith

Brent's passion for aviation began at age 4 when he went on a scenic flight over Lake Taupo, he's been hooked on aviation ever since.

Now a seasoned aviation professional, Brent began flying at the age of sixteen and has operated aircraft all over the world for five different airlines. He cut his teeth flying in outback Australia, before making his way to the Torres Strait Islands and onwards to Europe and the Middle East, eventually settling in the UK, operating for Europe's largest regional airline.

Brent is incredibly passionate about regional aviation specifically, with a strong belief in the value it brings to communities, both socially and economically.

In what is now a multitude of differing environments and marketplaces, Brent has experienced first-hand what airlines need to be doing to better serve their customers, and wider communities in general. Safe-guarding aviation for future generations to come, through the advancement of zero-emission propulsion technology, is a high priority of his and creates the backbone to Ecojet.

Peter Davies

Peter Davies

Peter's journey in aviation soared to great heights, piloting airlines through turbulent times and calm skies alike. As a seasoned CEO and board member, he's been the captain of five companies and navigated the boardrooms of many more for over three decades.

From breathing new life into DHL Express across Europe and the Americas to steering Brussels Airlines towards smoother horizons, Peter's expertise has been a beacon in the industry. He even pulled off the aviation equivalent of a magic trick in Trinidad & Tobago, closing one airline and launching another in just 90 days!

His adventures took him to the shores of Malta, where he rescued the national airline from the brink of bankruptcy, and to the deserts of Oman, where he introduced the Sultanate's first low-cost carrier. When South African Airways needed a steady hand, Peter stepped in as Chief Restructuring Officer.

Today, as Chairman of Airlink, Peter continues to spread his wings, ensuring that when disaster strikes, help can fly in swiftly. Peter and his team at Airline Management Group have been a supporting force behind Ecojet
